Killington Hay Festival, New England: giant animals made of hay!

Between Monday, September 3 and Monday, October 8 (Labor Day to Columbus Day as our American friends know them) the Killington Hay Festival is on. The “not to be missed” free annual Autumn festival showcases a collection of more than 40 giant hay animals (the “Grass Menagerie”) throughout the town, as well as a variety of daily and weekly family friendly events and activities, which include a scavenger hunt and a handcrafted maze.
Visitors can also sample the Killington Hay Festival beer, brewed by Long Trail especially for the event.
Special weekend events during this period include: the Killington Classic Motorcycle Touring Rally, the Farm to Table Festival, the Super Spartan Beast Race, and the Killington Resort Brewfest.
