Free seats from Ryanair despite Cheltenham loss

Following its promise earlier in the week to give away one million free seats if its horse won in the Ryanair Chase yesterday (Thursday, March 13), Ryanair has decided to continue its offer despite losing the race.

The airline's horse, Mossbank, failed to triumph at Cheltenham, but Ryanair announced that it has still released one million free seats for travel in April and advised passengers to book immediately.

No extra taxes or charges need to be paid, except a nominal 1p charge that will be reimbursed. Travel Monday to Thursday, and on Saturdays.

Air France non-stop flights to USA offers

Book by March 12: Air France is offering a special promotional fare to the US to celebrate the launch of its new direct flights from London, Manchester and Edinburgh.

Non-stop return flights are available from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester and Edinburgh to Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York and Cincinnati. Fares included taxes.
