KLM increases Durham capacity
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is introducing larger aircraft for its three daily flights from Durham Tees Valley.
The world's oldest airline has announced that from now until March there will be more than 7,000 extra seats available on its service from Durham to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
The capacity upgrade for the thrice-daily service to one of Europe's most important travel hubs is positive news for the local business community, which accounts for 55 per cent of all passengers on the flights.
