Welcome to the Cheap Flight News blog help page. We've tried to cover any questions you might have in this page, but if there's something else troubling you, just post a comment to any of our stories and we'll get back to you.
What is the Cheap Flight News blog? The blog, or weblog, is owned by Cheapflights Ltd. We want it to be a place where anyone interested in flying - whether for just one domestic flight a year or an international business trip every week - can find the latest news on flights, deals and savings. We post items to the blog daily with information on airline sales, news about the aviation industry and travel related news.
What can I use it for? There's a wealth of information available on the blog and the parts you'll want to use depend on what you're after. Every day, all the latest posts appear in the Latest Flight News category. If you want to know all there is to know then check it out daily, or sign up to the RSS feed. If you want a single place to find the latest airline sales then the Savings and Deals category will tell you which airlines have sales on which routes. This is particularly useful if you're looking for the best discount airfares as sales are often only on for a short time. If you want to know about individual airlines, such as announcements about new routes, changes in rules, mergers and so on, then we have 17 individual airline categories to check out. There's also Airport News and Travel Related News, which are both pretty self-explanatory.
What's a permalink? A permalink is short for "permanent link". It's a link that you can use to bookmark a current post. As the blog changes regularly, without a permanent link the posts would be hard to find later.
How do I post a comment? After each story there is a box: Post a Comment. Simply fill in the information in the box and press "Post" to send your comment. Please note that we cannot automatically upload comments. All comments are reviewed by an editor and will not appear on the blog until they have been approved.
What sort of comment could I make? Tell us anything that could be useful to someone else reading the same post. Have you had an experience that relates to what you've read about? Do you know more about the story? Have you spotted a mistake? Have you got something additional to add? We want this blog to be the most useful resource it possibly can be - if you've got anything to add that would help, please let us know!

Who is Cheapflights? Cheapflights Ltd is a price comparison website. We were launched in 1996 with www.cheapflights.co.uk. The US site www.cheapflights.com launched in 2003. We're not a travel agent and we don't sell tickets. We aim to be the "consumer champion" and we search the web for the best online flight deals.
