Those wishing to fly with bmibaby can get up to 50 per cent off, while carriers including British Airways, Monarch and Virgin Atlantic are also offering discounted flights to a number of destinations.
In addition, some new routes have been announced this week, with easyJet announcing a slew of new summer destinations and Ryanair putting on a special route for football fans in June.

New Routes:
14 new summer routes announced by easyJet
Low-cost carrier easyJet has announced the addition of 14 new routes to its summer 2009 schedule. Nine of the new flights will depart from UK regional airports, while the remainder will take off from European bases such as Paris and Berlin.
Ryanair confirms World Cup special flight
Ryanair has confirmed that it will be operating a special route for one of Ireland's FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
