BA adds fourth daily Dubai flight
November 18, 2008British Airways has announced that it will add a fourth daily service for its London Heathrow Airport to Dubai route.
The UK's flag carrier revealed that it will operate the additional service, five days a week from January 2 on a four-class BA Boeing 777.
This will increase the airline's flights between the emirate and the UK's principal airport to 26 per week, as the service bucks the downturn in air travel demand.
Paul Starrs, British Airways' commercial manager, Middle East, disclosed that this schedule was extended due to the popularity of the existing service.
He said: "In a year in which commercial aviation has probably faced the harshest trading environment in history, we have nearly doubled our Dubai to London services in the last two months alone."
The British airline has cut its business class Dubai to London return fares, in celebration of the new service.
