Air Europa adds Latin American connections

CaracasAir Europa has launched a new connecting service from London Gatwick Airport to South and Central America.

The Spanish carrier is operating twice-daily flights to Madrid, from where passengers can catch one of its services to numerous key destinations throughout Latin America.

Available destinations include Buenos Aires, Salvador De Bahia, Caracas, Santo Domingo, Punto Cana, Cancun and Havana.

Scheduled flights depart from Gatwick Airport at 10.10am and 5.40pm every day of the week, with the route being operated by codeshare partner Air Comet.

Commenting on the new service, Air Europa spokesperson Maria del Mar Ayudarte told travelmole.com: "The UK market to Latin America is booming and the specialist UK tour operators here are among the best in the world.

"Air Europa is well known as a holiday airline to the Mediterranean and our challenge is to make it equally well known as the best way to Latin America. We believe we can do this by working closely with the travel trade here in the UK."
