Guernsey gets year round link to Paris
Flybe is to operate a year round service between Guernsey and Paris, flying four times a week, from July 11.
One way tickets will start from £29.99 and can be booked from tomorrow (April 23). This news comes soon after the airline announced it would operate flights from Guernsey to Belfast.
Mike Rutter, Flybe chief commercial officer, said: "With this brand new route to Paris we’re giving Guernsey travellers an unbeatable low cost offer for direct travel to the French capital.
"With the recent addition of the Guernsey to Dublin route we remain resolutely committed to giving our customers an exciting and convenient range of travel options. It is confirmation that we are champions of affordable and convenient travel choices to exciting destinations across the UK and Europe."
Chris Elliott of Guernsey Airport said the link to Paris Charles de Gaulle offered both business and leisure passengers the opportunity to connect to destinations around the world, and was confident that those keen to explore the island would use the Flybe service.
