EasyJet.com: 'best flights website'

EasyJet.com has been voted the number one website for booking flights by readers of Which? Holiday magazine.

The survey took in the opinions of some 3,000 flyers, with more than one in five naming the low-cost carrier's website as their favourite resource for making a booking.

Respondents said that ease of use was the benefit they appreciated most when browsing for cheap flights, followed by value for money and the ability to filter search results.

"While value for money is clearly important, ease of use is even more important to people," noted Which? Holiday editor Lorna Cowan.

"With 80 per cent of our members using the internet to book or research their holiday, it's really important that businesses in the travel industry listen to what people want and get their websites right."

The most commonly cited frustrations when booking online included the need to register with a website (63 per cent), slow loading times (49 per cent) and inflexible search dates (45 per cent).

Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways also recently won an accolade for its website at this year's Pan Arab Web Awards.
