bmi launches Cardiff to Barcelona service

Low-cost carrier bmi is launching a new service between Cardiff and Barcelona, beginning on May 24.

Flights will be twice weekly on Tuesday and Saturday, and then from June 18 the airline will also be operating a service on Wednesdays.

Bmi is currently offering sale fares on the new route, starting at £24.99, including taxes and charges.

The special fare price is for online bookings and is subject to availability. Tickets are limited during school holidays. No refunds are permitted.

Those booking using a debit card will incur a two per cent charge of the total amount payable for their ticket. Credit card bookings will incur a fee of three per cent.

Passengers travelling from Cardiff have access to bmi's executive lounges and can also use the airline's online check-in service.
