Summer trips available from Inverness Airport
December 10, 2007Charter operator Newmarket Holidays has unveiled a range of destinations for summer 2008 from Inverness Airport, offering travellers the chance to experience the delights of Europe.
Newmarket’s 2008 programme starts with a flight to Madeira in March, while in April people will be able to visit Donegal and the Giant’s Causeway on the first ever direct connection from Inverness, with a further two departures in September.
In June, July, September and October there will be six departures from Inverness to Naples and Verona with holiday packages including Lake Garda, the Austrian Tyrol, Sorrento and the Bay of Naples, Tuscany and Italy’s historic cities.
Alison Keeble, business development manager at Newmarket Holidays, said: "Since starting at Inverness in 2004 we have steadily expanded our range of high quality holiday packages while taking account of what the local market wants.
"More than 1,200 holidaymakers travelled with us this year from Inverness and we look forward to welcoming many of them back on our flights in 2008."
