SAS to launch Bristol to Stockholm route
December 17, 2007
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is to reintroduce its summer service from Bristol International Airport to Stockholm-Arlanda Airport on June 27, offering passengers a link to the Swedish capital.
The flight will operate on Monday and Friday with one way fares starting from £49, and comes soon after the airline announced it would begin a route between Bristol and Oslo next year.
Lars-Ove Filipson, of Scandinavian Airlines, said: "Demand for SAS' Bristol to Stockholm service during summer 2007 was very strong amongst business and leisure travellers alike. SAS enjoyed excellent cabin factors for a new route and sold on average more than 80 per cent of the seats available on every flight.
"Earlier this year SAS announced the launch of our new service from Bristol International Airport to Oslo which will commence in April and offer three weekly return services to the Norwegian capital. This new route will complement our service to Stockholm."
