Enjoy the Geneva Chocolate Festival with easyJet
March 1, 2007Chocolate lovers have been urged to attend this year's Geneva Chocolate Festival which will held in the beautiful town of Versoix on March 17.
Set on the bank of Lake Geneva, Versoix is situated just ten kilometres from the centre of the city and those tempted by the prospect of a full day devoted to chocolate have been invited to fly there with easyJet.
The low-cost airline flies to Geneva from Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Bournemouth, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast, Liverpool and East Midlands, with one-way fares starting at £22.99 including taxes.
Legendary Swiss chocolate manufacturer Favarger is based in Versoix, but the town's reputation for chocolate now extends well beyond this single brand.
Now in its third year, the Geneva Chocolate Festival is expected to attract tens of thousands of chocoholics, eager to enjoy the giant chocolate fountain and the mouth-watering chococinema.
Visitors can also witness an interactive show about the various processes involved in the chocolate business before tasting the delectable creations of 15 different producers.
Chocoholics will be able to take a bus or boat from the centre of Geneva to Versoix, where the delicious delights await.
