Flybe to fly from Southampton to Galway
September 25, 2006Low-cost airline Flybe is launching a new route between Southampton and the west of Ireland.
The four-times weekly service to Galway will begin on December 16, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets will cost from £29.99 one-way, including taxes and charges.
Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer of Flybe, said that the new route was a response to customer demand. When the route begins, Flybe will fly to a total of 33 destinations from Southampton, including Palma, Malaga, Faro and Bordeaux.
Another Flybe route from Southampton is also due to be announced in the next few weeks, but the destination has not yet been revealed.
