bmi: more flights from Manchester to Scotland
September 18, 2006bmi is to increase the frequency of flights on two of its routes from Manchester Airport to Scotland.
The airline currently flies from Manchester to Aberdeen four times a day. From October 29, bmi will add a new early morning and afternoon flight, taking it up to six flights a day.
On the Manchester to Glasgow route, there will be a new lunchtime flight, which will boost services from four to five every weekday.
Stewart Adams, Regional Managing Director of bmi, said: "Not only are we the most punctual scheduled airline flying from Manchester, we are also the only regional airline to offer an all jet aircraft service. None of our competitors can match us in terms of flight frequencies to Scotland and the level of in-flight service offered."
