Ryanair launches new routes from Glasgow
Ryanair is to begin two new routes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport to the Netherlands and Latvia later this year.
The low-cost airline will begin flights from Scotland to Eindhoven and to Riga on the Baltic coast. Both services will start on October 31.
There will be five flights a week to Eindhoven, and four a week to Riga. One-way tickets on both routes start from £2.49, excluding charges.
This brings the total number of routes from Glasgow served by Ryanair to 23. The airline used today’s announcement to launch additional flights from its German base at Frankfurt Hahn.
Ryanair will add to its network from Germany with routes to the Hungarian holiday destination of Balaton, the French cities of Biarritz and Nantes and Valencia, in Spain.

The announcement of a new route to Endhoven from Prestwick surprises me, as Ryanair has recently cancelled flights to Lubeck. As a regular user of the Lubeck flight, Ihope that consideration will be given to restoring the route.
