Latest headlines from the US

April 4, 2006

It was another busy week of flight news in the US and our Cheapflights site has been keeping tracks on all that’s happened.

The end is nigh for Hooters Air, which is staffed by scantily clad flight attendants, has decided to drop regular scheduled services from the middle of April (see Hooters to cease service).

And there is trouble onboard US flights with figures showing that 349 unruly passengers were reported to government agencies in 2005, although this is down on the previous year's 482 incidents (see Poor behaviour in the skies increases).

Finally regular contributor to the US site Kaleel Sakakeeny asks Where has all the luggage gone? and wonders why airlines end up losing the baggage of so many passengers.
