Ryanair unveils Stansted Express deal
March 1, 2006Travellers using the high-speed Stansted Express rail link can now make substantial savings by purchasing their tickets from Ryanair.
The service links Stansted Airport with central London, shuttling between the two locations every 15 minutes. It stops at Tottenham Hale and Liverpool Street.
One-way tickets for £10 will be available onboard the low-cost airline's flights and on its website, marking a saving of £5 on normal prices.
Ryanair will also offer return fares for £19.50, as opposed to the normal price of £25.
The deal doesn't cover first-class single and return tickets, which are advertised on the Stansted Express website for £24 and £40 respectively.
The first trains leave Liverpool Street at 4.25am or 4.55am, depending on the day, and run until 11.25pm or 10.55pm.
The service starts at 5.30am or 6am from Stansted, with trains running until or just after midnight.

The substantial savings are on an adult ticket and there appears to be no offer for children.
