Brawl forces easyJet flight to divert

© easyJetA brawl between rival football fans forced an easyJet plane to make an emergency landing in Germany on Friday (November 6).
The flight, from Manchester to Munich, was diverted to Frankfurt Airport amid fears that a fight between the two English men was getting out of hand.
They were members of a group of 12 fans travelling to see Bayern Munich and Schalke 04 play in a Bundesliga match on Saturday.
The inebriated men were aged 24 and 36 and could not be restrained by cabin crew after they started fighting.
A spokesman for the police in Frankfurt, Franz Winkler, quoted by the Daily Mail, said; “The captain wanted to avoid a further escalation and endangerment to the aircraft so put down in Frankfurt.”
At the airport the two men were taken away by police, and none of the group was allowed to continue their journey to Munich. An easyJet spokesman later said that “no such arguments between passengers would be tolerated on flights.”

I was travelling on this flight for a weekend break with my friend. The Friday night of my break was totally ruined because we didn't arrive at our hotel until after 1am and everything was closed.
Somethings can't be avoided, but this was clearly not the case as the men involved were obviously drunk before they were allowed to board the plane.

I was on the easyJet flight to Munich on Friday. It was diverted to Frankfurt after a fight broke out between some drunken football supporters. Twelve passengers were removed from the plane and one was arrested. This was the second day of this flight in operation. The drunken passengers were drunk before they got on the plane and this was pointed out to the ground agents (Menzies Aviation) but they chose to ignore comments from the other passengers and even when they placed their empty pint glasses on the boarding gate they were allowed to board.
Once aboard they were served more alcohol by the cabin crew, even being offered the special two alcohol drinks at the lower price along with drinking a smuggled bottle of vodka on board. The more alcohol they drank the rowdier they became, and started to pick on a group of other passengers.
It was very scary when the fight kicked off, the staff, three women and one man, the man shouted and left one of the female cabin crew to deal with it while he scurried down the aisle to the cockpit. Worryingly, he actually entered the cockpit while the fight was still ensuing.
This situation is a pure indication that the booze culture of Britain is getting out of control.
