August 18, 2009Passengers travelling through Norwich Airport will soon be able to take advantage of a new connection with the popular Turkish resort of Dalaman.
Low-cost carrier Thomson Airways has confirmed that it will be adding the route to its 2010 timetable, operating flights once a week from the regional base.

"We are delighted to be operating an additional route from Norwich airport to Dalaman next summer and this decision demonstrates our commitment to the local airport," he said.
Airport Managing Director Elliott Summers added: "From May to October, Turkey has an ideal climate that is perfect for enjoying the mix of sun, sea, mountains and lakes that offers the holiday visitor from the UK a complete change from everyday life.
"We are very pleased Thomson will be offering this new route from Norwich, giving passengers even more choice from their local airport."
