Flybe unveils part of summer 2010 schedule
August 19, 2009Domestic low-cost carrier Flybe has begun taking bookings on a number of services in its newly unveiled summer 2010 route timetable.
The airline's updated schedule includes some 466 cheap flights from London Gatwick Airport, including a host of routes within the UK and Ireland.
Flybe carries more domestic passengers from the London hub than any other airline – an accolade which is reflected in its extensive summer timetable.
Services from Gatwick will include flights to Aberdeen, Belfast City, Dusseldorf, Guernsey, Inverness, Isle of Man, Jersey, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle and Newquay airports.
Europe-bound connections will also be on offer from Exeter and Southampton airports, with Flybe opening up links to Alicante, Malaga, Faro and Majorca.
"It's never too early to think about next summer," commented Flybe's Chief Commercial Officer, Mike Rutter, after confirming details of the new route timetable.
He added: "We anticipate our new Summer Sun routes will be very popular with passengers looking for the best deal possible for their holidays next year. We would strongly advise them to book early and take advantage of the lowest possible fares."
