British Airways' World Sale - flights, hols, rental cars

Book by Tuesday, July 14, to snap up one of British Airways' cheaper than cheap flights. The airline's World Sale is on now with return flights to New York available from £259 and one-way flights to popular European destinations starting from £39. 

There are also flight plus rental car offers and flight and hotel (three nights) bargains.

BA's global reach means that the list of destinations on offer runs from Amsterdam to Vancouver, Belgrade to Bermuda.

Some of the stellar bargains are Amsterdam flights from £55 one-way. Fly from London City between September 1 and December 18. Budapest flights, from Heathrow, cost from £49 (travel September 1 to October 31).

Further afield, in North America, BA is offering flights from London airports to New York (JFK and Newark) from £259 return, Orlando from £309 and San Francisco from £339. Canada flights cost from £329 return (Heathrow-Toronto) and £499 return (Heathrow to Vancouver).

Flights to the Middle East range between £259 and £349. Tel Aviv flights start at £259 return, (fly from Heathrow, September 1-22). Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat flights all depart from Heathrow and cost from £299 return. Travel September 6-7 to October 21-31. Flights to Kuwait start at £349 return, fly September 1 to October 31.
