British Airways tweaks winter flights schedule
July 1, 2009Last week we reported on British Airways' changes to its winter flights schedule. Now the airline has announced further tweaks. From October 25, there will be changes to services from London Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
The changes are as follows:
Gatwick to Rome - two flights per day will go down to one per day.
Heathrow to Brussels - daily flights will be reduced from seven to six.
Heathrow to Paris (Charles de Gaulle Airport) - where there are ten flights per day, there will be nine per day.
Heathrow to Nice and Berlin - six flights per day will be reduced to five per day.
Heathrow to Edinburgh flights will be reduced from 11 per day to ten per day.
However, some services will be increased. There will be three flights per day to Warsaw and Istanbul. Currently the Polish capital and the Turkish city welcome two flights per day.

BA has changed its Faro service from Gatwick. I was booked from Manchester to Faro (return), but since its change this week we arrive back into Gatwick after our last shuttle flight to Manchester. BA's response: TOUGH - book a hotel room at your own expense and we will fly you back to Manchester the next day. And they hope you will fly with them again? NEVER NEVER again.
