Virgin Atlantic is offering discounts on duty free purchases for passengers who check in online at Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow airports.
Customers who take an outbound flight between July 1 and August 31 will be given a £6-off duty free shopping voucher, which is redeemable on orders over £30.
Heathrow passengers will also be given an exclusive savings voucher for selected duty free retailers located in the departure areas of Terminal 3, TravelMole reports.
"We hope that this promotion will encourage passengers to check in online before their trip as it means their journey through the airport during these busy summer months will be made much easier and more enjoyable," said sales and marketing director Paul Dickinson.
Virgin Atlantic has previously set a target of ensuring 80 per cent of its passengers make use of online check-in facilities or airport self-service kiosks.
