Loganair to stop flying from Blackpool to Belfast and Isle of Man
June 12, 2009Loganair (website: www.loganair.co.uk) has announced that it will stop flying from Blackpool to Belfast City Airport and Ronaldsway Airport on the Isle of Man next month.
Sunday, July 12, will be the last day of service on both routes.
A spokesman for Loganair, a franchise airline for Flybe, said: "The economic situation has worsened in the last few months and this has led to the expected levels of demand for our new services failing to materialise despite the hugely competitive fares on offer.
"We offer our sincere apologies to any customer whose travel plans will be disrupted by today’s announcement and we will offer a full refund for any tickets purchased on flights which are no longer operating."
Flybe will be contacting customers with forward reservations.
