Aer Lingus unveils new Gatwick services
June 9, 2009 Irish national carrier Aer Lingus has added several new European destinations to its winter timetable at London Gatwick Airport, TravelMole reports.
From October 25, the airline will offer flights to Tenerife, Bucharest, Eindhoven, Lanzarote and Warsaw. Flights to Vilinus begin on September 10.
With the addition of the new connections, Aer Lingus passengers will have a choice of 118 flights per week from Gatwick Airport.
One-way fares for Eindhoven are available from just £24.99 all inclusive, while Warsaw flights start at £29.99 and the other routes cost from £49.99. Tickets are on sale now.
"To give our customers a greater choice in destinations, we've introduced six new routes which are popular to travellers during the winter months," commented spokesperson Enda Corneille.
He added: "We are still competitively priced, as well as making life a little easier for customers with free allocated seating, self service check-in kiosks, web check-in and onboard service that puts our competitors to shame."
Aer Lingus opened its Gatwick base in April, offering flights to Malaga, Munich, Faro, Vienna, Nice, Knock and Zurich. The airline also flies from London Heathrow Airport.
