Post by Martin Rivers on Monday 20 April, 2009 in easyJet

easyJet is to fly three new routes from London Luton Airport this summer. The low-cost pioneer will start flying to Milan and Mahon on July 6 and to Montpellier on July 7.

The new routes will take the airline's tally of destinations served from Luton Airport to 34.

Flights between Luton and Milan will operate daily bar Saturdays and cost from £26.99 one way including taxes and charges.

easyJet will fly to Mahon in Menorca, the most rural of the Balearic Islands, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. One-way fares will cost from £28.99 with taxes and charges.

Montpellier, in the South of France, will be served on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. One-way flights will cost from £26.99 including taxes.

In a statement, Paul Simmons, easyJet's UK Regional General Manager, said: “Milan, Mahon and Montpellier are fantastic additions to our low-fares services from Luton.

"These exciting destinations have an appeal for everyone whatever their budget and holiday needs.”

Seats are on sale now, via the easyJet website (www.easyjet.com).

Please inform me of any food restrictions on a flight to Barcelona from Luton.

Hi Sheila,

You are free to carry your own food on-board any flights operated by easyJet, and you can also purchase refreshments from the airline's on-board bistro.

For information about which foodstuffs are subject to import restrictions on return flights from Spain, please consult the DEFRA database.

Kind regards,
