Luton launches priority lane

Post by © Cheapflights Ltd on Friday 20 March, 2009 in Airport News, London Luton

London Luton Airport has launched a security priority lane, which allows passengers to reduce their waiting time for a small fee.

The international airport has unveiled the fast and efficient option through security for a £3 charge, in the hope of improving passenger's experience at the facility.

Tickets for the service can be obtained from kiosks in Luton Airport's terminal building or can be secured online before travelling at www.londonluton.com

Simon May, Luton Airport's commercial manager, suggested that feedback taken from passengers using the service had so far been "positive".

He said: "We have worked hard to reduce waiting times at security for all passengers and improve customer service across the airport."

London Luton Airport, which is a major base for a number of budget airlines, is the UK's fifth busiest aviation centre and welcomed more than ten million passengers through its gates last year.
