Chauffeur service on more bmi routes
March 6, 2009A complimentary chauffeur drive service has been made available for business travellers on three more bmi routes, the airline has announced.
The service has been launched on routes from Heathrow Airport to Cairo, Tel Aviv and Beirut.
This brings the total number of routes which can make use of the service up to six and will be seven at the end of this month when the new direct route to Kiev from Heathrow launches.
Passengers who make use of the service will be eligible for up to four transfers per flight and can use it at both ends of their journey, bmi explained.
Managing director of bmi Peter Spencer said that the service has already generated some positive comments from passengers and as such the airline is "pleased" to be able to now offer it on more routes.
He commented: "We want our customers to experience high quality service and value for money and we are always looking for ways we can improve our offering. "These initiatives help us to deliver a hassle-free package and reinforce our commitment to providing the best possible service for business travel."
