Cheapflights' Canadian site traffic up 100% year on year

2.6 million visits to Cheapflights.ca in 2008

London & Boston, Ma., 9 February 2009: Cheapflights, the international leader in flights price search and comparison, with sites in North America, UK and Germany, announces that its Canadian site (www.cheapflights.ca) received 2.6 million visits over the past year. The site has seen solid growth during 2008 and in January 2009, visits were up 100% year on year.

Cheapflights.ca was “light launched” in April 2007 and has been until recently providing Canadian consumers with a multi-partner search by date tool and also hand-picked deals service when new functionality and content were added. This has clearly been of interest to Canadian consumers looking for value for money flight deals and is reflected in the increasing traffic on www.cheapflights.ca.
