Priority boarding for Jet.com's online passengers
January 7, 2009Jet2.com has announced that passengers who check in online will be given priority boarding when they arrive at UK airports.
The low-cost carrier announced yesterday (January 6) that travellers who use its free online check in service will be allowed to by-pass queues at airport terminals.
As such, they will be able to spend more time shopping in the airport before departure and will be able to skip the queues to board aircraft.
Chief executive Philip Meeson said that the new service had been made available because the airline makes a point of listening to passenger feedback.
He commented: "We always aim to give our passengers the most enjoyable experience on board and by beating the queues within the airport by checking-in from home, we expect our customers to find the whole process even more relaxing and stress-free."
In recent months, Jet2.com has also offered its passengers gift vouchers and a new loyalty scheme which rewards customers with points that they can redeem against future flight bookings.
