Jet2.com allows passengers to order food with flights
January 9, 2009Passengers travelling with Jet2.com can now order in-flight meals when booking their flights.
The low-cost carrier has created an option in its online flight booking process that allows passengers to pay for their meal before getting on the plane.
For £7, flyers can have a hot three course meal and a cup of "freshly brewed tea or coffee". Jet2.com offers a variety of hot meals which are provided depending on the time of the flight.
Passengers will also be provided with a "freshly baked bread roll and butter ... plus a tasty dessert".
The process has been designed to stop passengers from "fumbling for change ... worrying over what's available from the trolley or deliberating what to buy".

It's my first time aboard and I'm also flying with your airline and I'm just wondering do I get food on the flight and also does the flight have televisions to watch? I've just never travelled aboard before and would like to know. Thanks.

Dear Gemma,
There is no complimentary meal service on Jet2.com flights. On most flights there is a good choice of hot or cold drinks and a selection of snacks (sandwiches and confectionery) available to purchase. The inflight service does not extend to seatback televisions.
You can find out more about flying with Jet2.com by visiting this page on cheapflights.co.uk.
Hope this helps.
