Bmi regional takes over Aberdeen flights
January 13, 2009Bmi regional has announced that it will begin to operate services between Birmingham International Airport and Aberdeen Airport.
The low-cost airline revealed that it would be taking over the schedule from its partner company bmibaby from March 29 and will offer passengers the opportunity to purchase fares from just £30 one-way.
Services on the route will be operated three times daily by the airline, which is the most frequent schedule presently run between the two destinations.
Peter Kenworthy, commercial director of bmi regional, said: "The increased schedule reinforces our commitment to key business routes within the UK and we recognise the need for a more for a more frequent schedule."
The new route will also provide connectivity at Aberdeen for passengers travelling to Scandinavia. Bmi regional currently offers customers the opportunity to travel to a variety of domestic and European destinations from its four UK airport bases.
