Poll: Christmas Cutbacks
December 4, 2008This poll has now closed
Does the combination of the credit crunch and the upcoming festive season conjure images of empty stockings, turkey-less Christmas dinners and present-less Christmas trees? Well perhaps that seems a bit drastic, but most of us will have to make a few sacrifices this season. The question is, how far are you willing to go with your cutbacks?

Not that far. Christmas comes but once a year my friend, a mainstay of western society! We can't let it slip by without celebration. The idea of turkey-less Christmas dinners, sub-par Christmas party venues and Christmas party entertainment is one of nightmares. We're all feeling the pinch this year but there's certain pillars of society we should not flounder with and Christmas is definitely one. I will be eating my traditional Christmas dinner this year and have my yearly Christmas party fun, the recession is not taking my Christmas!
