Pegasus Airlines begins UK advertising campaign
October 13, 2008Pegasus Airlines (website: www.flypgs.com) has launched a high-profile advertising campaign targeted specifically at British holidaymakers.
The Turkish airline currently operates several routes out of London Stansted, travelling to such destinations as Istanbul, Trabzon, Adana and the Cypriot city of Lefkosa.
Encompassing print, billboard and online advertising formats, its campaign is intended to boost Pegasus' reputation in Britain ahead of the forthcoming winter season.
The marketing drive highlights the carrier's one-way all-inclusive cheap flights to Istanbul, with fares starting from just £40 and an array of onward connections on offer within the country.
Pegasus spokesperson Ozlem Mutluer commented: "We are excited to be increasing our visibility in the UK as we increase flight frequency on our London-Istanbul/North Cyprus route, with a bold and exciting message which reflects our position as the fastest-growing airline with the youngest 737 fleet in Turkey."
The airline recently unveiled details of its winter flight schedule, which included the expansion of its Istanbul connections to a five-times weekly service from Stansted.
