Additional Air Southwest flights from Plymouth
July 31, 2008Air Southwest is to increase the frequency of Air Southwest flights it offers between Plymouth City Airport and Leeds Bradford from this weekend.
The additional daily flight will operate six times a week, except Saturday, with the new service starting on August 3 departing each afternoon at 4.35pm.
Mike Coombes, deputy chief executive of Air Southwest said: "We have found there is increasing demand for flights to Leeds Bradford from Plymouth, and these additional services will give added flexibility for business and leisure travellers alike.
"At a time when more people are looking to spend their holidays in the UK, improved air links to the South West are playing an important part in increasing the region's attractiveness as a short break and holiday destination."
One way flights between Plymouth and Leeds Bradford start from £39, and can be booked online.
This year Air Southwest has started new routes from Plymouth, with flights to Cork, Newcastle, Glasgow and Dublin and in December its first flights to the French ski destination of Grenoble will take off.
