Zoom expands Cardiff to Toronto service
April 28, 2008
Zoom Airlines has revealed plans to expand its service from Cardiff International Airport to Toronto.
The carrier announced on Friday (April 25) that an additional direct service to the Canadian city will be launched in July this year.
Flights to Toronto will operate on Mondays and Wednesdays with a weekly service to Vancouver departing on Thursdays as part of the carrier's summer schedule, which is due to start at the beginning of May.
Return fares to Toronto will be available from £329 including all taxes and from £429 including all taxes to Vancouver.
Zoom Airlines spokesperson Lori Burke said that increased demand for flights to Canada from the Welsh capital was the reason for the expanded service.
She commented: "We are delighted to be doubling our frequency out of Cardiff to Toronto this summer. The increase year-on-year in passenger numbers since we first started operating from Cardiff in summer 2005, has been exceptional."
Zoom Airlines is the only airline carrier offering various flights to Canada from Cardiff International Airport this summer.
