Lufthansa premiers PA service at Heathrow
March 6, 2008A new Personal Assistant service has been introduced at Heathrow Airport by Lufthansa.
The German airline has been trialling the new service for three months and now it has been fully introduced for its First Class customers and HON Circle members.
Heathrow is the first European-based hub to benefit from Lufthansa's PA service.
Passengers departing from Terminal 2 with Lufthansa who want to use the service will be met at check in by their "dedicated Personal Assistant", who will then escort them quickly through security to the Lufthansa lounge.
Announcing the new service, the carrier's Marianne Sammann said: "Lufthansa's new Personal Assistant service offers a new and exclusive benefit for our best and most loyal customers flying out of London, further strengthening our leading position in the premium segment.
"As one of Lufthansa's most important markets, London boasts the highest share of Lufthansa's UK-based top frequent fliers and London Heathrow alone ranks number six in Lufthansa's worldwide rankings for HON Circle membership."
Lufthansa is also planning to introduce a similar service at London City Airport.
