KLM announces new routes for summer
March 14, 2008KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has revealed that it is going to increase the number of routes it will be operating during the summer from London Heathrow Airport.
The Netherlands' flag carrier announced today (Friday, March 14) that it is expanding its network of transatlantic flights from Heathrow in cooperation with Northwest Airlines.
Out of London Heathrow, Northwest Airlines will gradually start three new daily services to Minneapolis (from £892), Detroit (from £757) and Seattle (from £1,140)*.
Air France, which merged with KLM in May 2004, is also implementing its Joint Venture agreement with its US partner Delta Air Lines this summer. This will see a strengthening of its services from London, "Europe's biggest market for traffic across the north Atlantic", added KLM.
