Ryanair to begin new French routes from Dublin and Cork
December 14, 2007
No-frills airline Ryanair has announced several new routes to France from Dublin and Cork for the 2008 schedule.
From April next year, the airline will begin flying from Dublin to Brest, Rodez and Tours, increasing the number of French destinations on offer from the Irish capital to 11.
To mark the launch of these three services, Ryanair is offering 250,000 seats for €10 one-way (including taxes) across all of its 84 Dublin routes.
As well as this, Ryanair will offer summer flights from Cork to Carcassonne (also in France). The service will operate three times weekly from the end of May until the first week of September.
To celebrate this route, Ryanair is putting 50,000 seats from Cork on sale for €10 one-way, including taxes.
Kevin Cullinane, Cork Airport's marketing manager, said: "Cork Airport welcomes this latest addition to our ever expanding route network and Ryanair's confidence in our ability to deliver sustained profitable routes."
