More flights to Cyprus and Egypt from XL Airways
November 9, 2007
XL Airways is to operate extra flights to Cyprus and a new route to Egypt from London next summer.
From May 23, the airline will begin a new programme of flights from London Luton Airport to Larnaca and Paphos (both in Cyprus) and Sharm-El-Sheikh (Egypt).
To Larnaca, a five-times weekly service will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and to Paphos, three-times weekly flights will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The Sharm-El-Sheikh connection will operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays.
"London Luton is ideally located for this market just a few minutes from the M1 and M25 motorways, with car parks conveniently located close to the terminal building and great transport links to London," said XL managing director Martin Lock.
Public transport connections to Luton include trains to Luton Airport Parkway and the easyBus shuttle bus service.
