New Ryanair flights from Dublin and Shannon
October 26, 2007Ryanair has announced a series of new flights from Ireland that will begin next spring.
In March the airline will begin flying from Shannon to Alicante, and from Dublin to Palma, Santander and Zadar (Croatia).
The new services will take the number of Ryanair routes from Dublin to 83, and from Shannon to 31, consolidating its position as Ireland's biggest airline.
A new route linking Shannon to Dublin will also begin in two weeks' time, allowing passengers to avoid heavy traffic on the N7 and M50. To celebrate its launch, the airline is releasing 10,000 seats between Shannon and Dublin for 'free' - i.e., just pay the taxes and charges. These tickets are good for travel in November, December and January.
Separately, Ryanair has put 100,000 seats from Belfast City Airport on sale for £5 (including taxes and charges). This is to celebrate the upcoming launch of its Belfast base.
The tickets in this deal are for travel from Belfast City to East Midlands, London, Glasgow and Liverpool in November, December and January.
