bmi offers link between Glasgow and Copenhagen
July 9, 2007
A new connecting service between Glasgow and Copenhagen has been launched by bmi, giving passengers the chance to take a day return flight.
The airline launched the weekday service today (July 9) that will operate via Leeds Bradford Airport, complementing its existing non-stop direct evening flight.
bmi’s Peter Kenworth said: “This new connection complements our evening non-stop service between Glasgow and Copenhagen providing a day-return facility for the first time and giving passengers the opportunity to spend a full six hours in Copenhagen.”
The new weekday service has a journey time of just under three and a half hours, making it the quickest indirect route to Copenhagen and taking an hour off the current fastest morning routing between the two cities, which goes via Amsterdam. Similarly the return connection is 40 minutes quicker than the existing fastest connection.
