Flyglobespan sells Glasgow and Belfast to Orlando flights
June 26, 2007Flyglobespan is selling tickets for next summer's flights from Glasgow and Belfast to Orlando Sanford in Florida.
The route operates all year round and passengers can book as far ahead as October 2008. Prices begin at £149.99 one-way (including taxes) in Economy, and £499.99 in Business Class. Economy-Class passengers receive a full meal service.
The Scottish airline will fly four times weekly from Glasgow from April, increasing to a daily service from June 15. From Belfast, flights will operate once a week and increase to twice weekly during the peak summer season.
Accommodation and transfers are also available for booking through www.flyglobespan.com.
Tom Dalrymple, Chairman of Flyglobespan, said that the Glasgow to Sanford route was "the UK's first ever low fares daily service between the UK and Florida".
Orlando is especially popular with families because it is home to attractions such as Walt Disney World Resort and SeaWorld.
Passengers from Glasgow also have the option of flying to the Florida city with Virgin Atlantic, which launched its Glasgow to Orlando service over the weekend.
