EasyJet to launch Luton to Vienna flight

ViennacastleEasyJet is to launch a new route between London and Vienna this autumn.

A daily service between London Luton Airport and the Austrian capital will begin on October 29 and will be the airline's first route to the Alpine country.

Tickets, which are on sale now at www.easyjet.com, cost from £22.99 one-way (£42.98 return), including taxes. EasyJet expects the route to be popular with both city break and winter sports travellers.

Located on the banks of the river Danube, Vienna is a treasure trove of cultural highlights, with a wealth of museums, palaces and other grand buildings.

EasyJet has also begun selling flights for its 2007/08 winter season (October 28, 2007 to March 29, 2008) from Liverpool and Belfast.

Winter tickets from the airline's other bases, including Stansted, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle, will go on sale over the next few weeks.

EasyJet was founded in October 1995 and now flies more than 280 routes.
