April 26, 2007
Travel company Thomson is to introduce flights to Los Cabos on Mexico's Pacific coast next summer.
A direct Thomsonfly service will operate fortnightly from both London Gatwick and Manchester, the Travelmole website reports.
The Baja California destination will feature in Thomson's Faraway Shores brochure, which goes on sale today (April 26).
Prices begin at £899 for a two-week stay at the Los Cabos 5T ClubHotel Riu Jalisco, including return flights from Gatwick on June 4, 2008. Flying from Manchester, a two-week stay at the 5T Riu Santa Fe hotel will cost from £999.
Los Cabos is located on the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula and is a popular spot for sport fishing.
Thomsonfly will also be flying to Mexico's popular Puerto Vallarta resort from next summer.
Last month the airline announced a host of new flights for its winter 2007/08 schedule, including Doncaster to Geneva from £22.99 (one-way, including extras), Manchester to Naples for £29.99, Cardiff to Barcelona from £22.99 and Gatwick to Paphos from £59.99.
