MAXjet to launch twice weekly Las Vegas link
August 30, 2006
MAXjet Airways is launching a new route between London Stansted and Las Vegas, beginning on November 2.
The route is MAXjet's third from Stansted and will operate on Mondays and Thursdays, departing London at 1pm and arriving at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport at 5pm. On the way back, flights will leave the world's gambling capital at 7.30pm and touch down in Stansted at 12.30pm the following day.
Tickets will go on sale on September 1, priced at £999 return, including taxes and fees.
MAXjet is an all-business class airline. Passengers can enjoy amenities such as complimentary alcohol, four-course meals and deep-recline seats at relatively low prices.
The airline already flies from Stansted to New York-JFK Airport and Dulles International in Washington, D.C.
Commenting on the latest addition, Stansted Airport's managing director, Terry Morgan, said: "MAXjet passengers will now be able to travel between three of the most popular destinations in the US, with virtually unlimited connections throughout the US and more than 160 destinations throughout the UK and Europe."
MAXjet has also revised its schedule for New York and Washington flights, introducing later US departures (8.15pm and 8.30pm respectively) to give passengers more time to complete business.
