bmibaby's 'see ya!' fares from £13.99 one-way
July 20, 2006
bmibaby has released almost a quarter of a million seats starting from £13.99 one-way including taxes and charges. There are also one-way flights from £16.99 and £24.99 (with taxes). The number of tickets on sale varies according to destination. For example, there are 30,500 seats available for £13.99 on the Birmingham to Belfast route and 700 seats at £24.99 on the Manchester to Malaga link.
The cheapest seats take in the following routes: Birmingham to Belfast, Edinburgh and Knock-Ireland West; Cardiff and Nottingham East Midlands to Belfast and Edinburgh; and Manchester to Belfast and Knock-Ireland West.
Flights from £16.99 are available from Birmingham and Cardiff to Amsterdam and Prague; Durham Tees Valley to Paris; and Manchester to Prague.
£24.99 is the cost of a one-way flight from Birmingham, Cardiff, Durham Tees Valley, Manchester or Nottingham East Midlands airports to Malaga and Palma.
The airline has not specified travel dates, but the best way to locate a cheap flight is to select the route and dates you would like to travel. The booking page will highlight all the fares available around the date specified. Be flexible. Helpfully, the airline highlights how many seats are available at a certain price.
See bmibaby's fares page for the number of seats available (and prices) on all of its routes.

Bmibaby is very cheap but I flew with them last weekend and their planes were always delayed from two to four hours (Birmingham -Edinburgh). It is also impossible to claim the money back for every extra expenses that you can get due to the missed connection of the train and buses. Taxis remain a big expenditure to take in consideration after a late delayed flight. I this case, I am happy to pay more with another company.

I have used bmibaby from Manchester to Jersey many times without any problems, and also to Bordeaux without problems. Perhaps the gentleman may have been unlucky. I have had much worse experiences with another cheap airline. Luck of the draw!

I have used bmibaby three times and think it is great. No waiting about in queues and always on time. I fly from Manchester to Alicante.
