Air Turquoise suspends all flights
July 25, 2006Air Turquoise has announced the suspension of all flights from its Vatry base in the east of France.
The airline said that the French courts had put the company into liquidation, although it would remain in operation on the ground until July 31 in the hope that a financial deal could be struck with investors.
The French regional airline has been in operation a little over a year and offered flights between Luton and Vatry, 65km to the south west of Reims.
Travellers with tickets on forthcoming flights are being advised to contact a French-based official receiver through the post.
