Flights to Germany from £71
April 29, 2006With the FIFA World Cup set to start on June 9, all roads lead to Germany. Sadly, tickets for England’s games are long gone, but Lufthansa, the national airline, has some cheap flights for footie fans eager to soak up the atmosphere and support their team on foreign soil.
Fares from London to Hamburg start from £71; Dusseldorf and Stuttgart from £73; Cologne from £74; and Frankfurt and Munich from £75.
Flights from Manchester to Hamburg and Dusseldorf cost from £69, and Munich and Frankfurt from £70.
Birmingham to Dusseldorf costs from £72; Munich from £73 and Frankfurt from £74.
Finally, Edinburgh to Frankfurt costs from £104.
All flights are return and include taxes, but there is limited availability on selected dates.
